In April of 1980, I discovered the Buckhorn Exchange restaurant at 10th and Osage in Denver. The Buckhorn is a historical landmark established in 1893. I was fascinated by this wonderful place and courageously inquired if I could play music there. I felt that my cowboy songs and folk music would add even more to the atmosphere and experience of those visiting the restaurant. I received approval and thereby began my professional music career. Now after many years of singing at the Buckhorn, I have finally produced a CD consisting of some of my favorite western songs. This project is gratefully dedicated to the owners and staff at the Buckhorn.
